Location: Capernwray Dive Centre. (Jackdaw Quarry)

Requirements:

You will need to have completed a Medical form and handed it to our Branch Diving Officer. If you have not filed a medical it may result in your instructor not allowing you to dive on the day.     

You will need Current BSAC membership.

If you are not already a member you will need to join Capernwray dive centre. The fee is now £30 fee for a 2-year membership, you will need to register online and choose the 2-year diving option, beyond this Capernwray will charge £15.00 each time you visit, this fee pays for parking, and the use of facilities (W.C, showers, cafe facilities, and use of the actual quarry). you can bring a packed lunch and drinks. Air fills are also available for £5.00 per fill.

You will need your regular SCUBA gear and if you do not own a DRY SUIT, you will either need to purchase or borrow one or you can hire them from either Capernwray Dive Centre or Bolton Area Divers. You will also need to think about also borrowing a Hood, some gloves & Sea Fins.                               We suggest you speak to members of the club or the Equipment Officer but you will need to telephone either of these places below no less than a week in advance to make arrangements to hire your Drysuit.

It is paramount that you book this event via the club website so that we know who is attending.

Only when you have booked this event can we allocate an instructor to you.
