SUMMARY:Sports Diver / Dive leader
DESCRIPTION:We are organising a Sports Diver open water training session at the Capernwray Dive Centre\, also known as Jackdaw Quarry. \nTo participate\, you must have completed a medical form and submitted it to our Branch Diving Officer before the event. If you fail to submit the form\, your instructor will not allow you to dive on the day. \nYou are required to have a current BSAC membership to take part in the training session. Additionally\, you must also join the Capernwray dive centre by registering online and choosing the 2-year diving option. This requires a fee of £30 for membership\, which will cover the cost of parking and the use of facilities such as W.C.\, showers\, and café facilities. Capernwray will charge you £16.00 each time you visit beyond this fee. Air fills are also available for £5.00 per fill. \nPlease bring your Cylinder & BCD SCUBA gear\, and if you do not own a dry suit\, you will either need to purchase or borrow one. Alternatively\, you can hire from either Capernwray Dive Centre or Bolton Area Divers. You may also need to consider borrowing/hiring a hood\, some gloves and sea fins. We suggest you speak to members of the club or the Equipment Officer to make arrangements to hire your drysuit. Only when you have booked\, can we allocate an instructor to you.                                                                  Priority will be given to those students on the current Ocean Diver Course.
