DESCRIPTION:Hi All. \nDue to popular demand\, we have managed to re schedule the PRM\, Practical Rescue Management course. \nThis is split into 2 days.The first is as above 22nd June.This is the theory part.We have managed to secure a new venue at Carr Mill Dam for the theory\,thanks in part to those nembers helping with diver rescue\,seems to be working good for both parties The 23rd June( day after) will be held at Holyhead marina.The practical will include lots of Rescu \ne scenario’s. It’s a fantastic 2 days.This course goes along way towards other things like Dive Leader etc.It really is a great skill and qual to have. \nBecause it is spread over 2 days\,I have created 2 x events.Please ensure you book on both days.This will assist Chris and Mike and other instructors in their planning

SUMMARY:Sports Diver/ Dive Leader Training
DESCRIPTION:  \nWe are organising a Sports Diver open water training session at the Capernwray Dive Centre\, also known as Jackdaw Quarry. \nTo participate\, you must have completed a medical form and submitted it to our Branch Diving Officer before the event. If you fail to submit the form\, your instructor will not allow you to dive on the day. \nYou are required to have a current BSAC membership to take part in the training session. Additionally\, you must also join the Capernwray dive centre by registering online and choosing the 2-year diving option. This requires a fee of £30 for membership\, which will cover the cost of parking and the use of facilities such as W.C.\, showers\, and café facilities. Capernwray will charge you £16.00 each time you visit beyond this fee. Air fills are also available for £5.00 per fill. \nPlease bring your Cylinder & BCD SCUBA gear\, and if you do not own a dry suit\, you will either need to purchase or borrow one. Alternatively\, you can hire from either Capernwray Dive Centre or Bolton Area Divers. You may also need to consider borrowing/hiring a hood\, some gloves and sea fins. We suggest you speak to members of the club or the Equipment Officer to make arrangements to hire your drysuit. Please call either of these places below no less than a week prior to the event. \nBolton Area Divers 01204 394441 www.boltonareadivers.co.uk (BAD requires an authorizing email from the branch DO before you can hire a drysuit). \nOr \nCapernwray 01524 735132 www.dive-site.co.uk (If hiring from Capernwray\, we suggest you arrive at opening time or sooner to speed up the process of collecting your membership card\, dry suit\, and any extra weights you may need.) \nIt is essential that you book your place on the event via the club website to ensure we know who is attending. Only when you have booked\, can we allocate an instructor to you.                                                                  Priority will be given to those students on the current Ocean Diver Course.
