SUMMARY:Diving In Pembrokeshire 16th and 17th July 2022
DESCRIPTION:Pembrokeshire has been voted by the National Geographic as being the second best coastal destination in the world. Not only does it have the breath-taking coastal scenery\, but also a very scenic and abundant underwater environment\, with a diversity of marine life\, making it a paradise for divers of all abilities and interests. \nhttps://pembrokeshireboatcharters.co.uk \n  \nPopular diving spots include Skomer\, Skokholm and Middleholm islands\, which form part of the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve: the only stretch of water in Wales to have Marine Conservation Zone Protected Status. \n(Read more at naturalresources.wales/skomer). \nThe biodiversity in this area is magnificent\, and the beauty doesn’t stop here: the waters around South Pembrokeshire (including the Smalls and the Haven waterway) have so many hidden gems in its marine environment! \nThis will be the dive boat\, as you can see it has a lift 😉 \n \nSharks. Yes I said sharks — Blue sharks\, Porbeagles\, Threshers\, Basking sharks. (outside chances of seeing Mako) common Dolphins\, Risso dolphin\, Porpoise\, Sunfish. \n  \nTrip approved by M.R Branch DO. \nTeam members: 10 Divers \nDeposit = £20 per person immediately so I can secure the boat for us \nBalance: to be collected by the 15th June 2022 \nQualifications:\nOcean diver with a minimum of 10 sea dives (Dive logs will be checked) (Branch DO has requested this) you must have 2 cylinders and a dsmb\, qualifications will be checked by the skipper so you must bring your qualifications \nMedicals: Full up to date medical form. \nBSAC & Branch membership: Fully up to date. \nCylinders: x2 each fills will be arranged with the skipper – Air fills up to 300 bar are available from a local company. \nAccommodation: Book your own accommodation. \nLogistics: We can arrange travelling closer to the time. \nMarina: There is a free car park overlooking departure point. Meet 0830 – Ropes off 09:00 \nDiving Information\nDue to weather conditions\, tides or possible lack of visibility\, we do not advertise where we will dive in advance. This is to ensure that we offer you the best possible locations on the day. If you have a particular site you wish to dive\, we will always endeavour to fulfil this request. \nA final decision on the dive sites will be made on the day in the interest of enjoyment and safety.
